Guru Poornima Celebration and 60th Anniversary of Integral Yoga
July 24 - 26, 2026
Join us for this milestone weekend to celebrate the 60th Anniversary of Integral Yoga and Guru Poornima.
Near the July full moon, we traditionally gather to honor our Guru, Swami Satchidananda (Sri Gurudev) who taught us to respect the founders of all faiths and their teachings.
Beginning in New York City in 1966, Sri Gurudev established Integral Yoga as a dynamic spiritual path that has flowered world-wide over the years.
Thousands if not millions of individuals have been transformed by the practices and teachings of Integral Yoga which promote an easeful body, peaceful mind and useful life.
Since his passing from the body in 2002, the spiritual presence of Sri Gurudev continues to fill the hearts of long-time and new devotees.
His guidance in our daily lives keeps us in touch with our inner peace, while reaching out to others with loving-kindness.
Jai Gurudev!
In this milestone celebration, we’ll experience:
- Coming together as an Integral Yoga family with founding members and new sisters and brothers
- Honoring Sri Gurudev through puja (worship service)
- Hearing amazing stories about lessons learned directly from Sri Gurudev and the evolution of Integral Yoga Ashrams, Institutes and Centers
- Seeing inspiring film coverage of sangha over the years
- Understanding the current world-wide presence of Integral Yoga

“Yogaville is an excellent place to cultivate one’s spirituality, health, and happiness. I’m so thankful to have discovered such an amazing community and concept early in my life that empowers me to better myself, others, and my surroundings. I will undoubtedly be returning for other programs, retreats, short and extended stays.”
–Greenville, SC
“The energy is what really makes Satchidananda Ashram-Yogaville so special and so different from regular yoga retreats. The energy of Swami Sivananda, and Swami Satchidananda permeate throughout the Ashram. Being here brought me great clarity about questions I had in a transition period of my life; the Swami’s there were wonderful, and are truly embodying the teachings. This is the real deal! Stay for as long as you can.”
