Yogaville Employment Opportunities

Employment & Volunteer Opportunities

Working as staff at the Ashram provides a wonderful opportunity for Self exploration and growth in a truly unique environment. Being here allows us to discover and understand who we are.

All employees are asked to participate in morning and evening meditation programs and Hatha classes. This is where you can absorb the teachings and meditative practices that will help you experience your own inner light. However, this is not required but it is highly suggested.

We ask our staff to bring a sincere, positive intention to every job. This will greatly support our ability to work together in harmony. Love should be the underlying motivation in our daily work and task. Maintaining and protecting Ashram atmosphere for the benefit of all should be the goal of every staff member.

If you have any interest in being a part of staff or volunteering at the Ashram please apply. Based on departmental needs, Management will determine the placement of applicants according to their qualifications and experience. If no positions are available we will hold applicant on file and forward to all qualified positions.

Completion of a 30-day residential program at Satchidananda Ashram-Yogaville is the prerequisite for becoming an employee with us. It is the best way to get an introduction to life here. Successful completion of a month-long Living Yoga Training (LYT) Program or one of the Ashram’s residential Integral Yoga Teacher Training programs would fulfill that requirement.
