The Tryambakam Mantra
One of the traditional prayers that we offer is the following mantra that is usually repeated three times and is followed by a closing.
Om Tryambakam Yajamahe
Sugandhim Pushtivardhanam
Urvarukamiva Bandhanan
Mrityor Mukshiya Maamritat
Om Shanti, Shanti, Shanti
Translation
We worship the All-seeing One
Fragrant, you nourishes bounteously.
From the fear of death may you cut us free
To realize immortality.
