Mindfulness for Busy People

with Michael Rhadeya Plasha, E-RYT 500, RPYT

April 19 - 21, 2024

Are you ready to take a break from the dis-ease of busyness? It can be challenging to find moments of silence and repose in the midst of work, family, errands and activities. If we get a moment, there is the constant stimulation of the senses and the mind with social and news media available in the palm of our hand. Mindfulness is our portable practice to feel calm and focused throughout the day.

Gain valuable insights into how to surf the ongoing overstimulation of today’s modern world. Learn how to navigate staying present amongst a culture that praises being busy. Together we will create intentional pauses to allow your brain and nervous system to relax and reset.

Walk away with a heightened sense of awareness of the present, with the tools you need to stay calm during a time of an overwhelming influx of information. In this weekend retreat, you will learn how to skillfully navigate these challenges in each moment that they occur.

Learn and Practice:

  • How to cultivate mindfulness throughout your day
  • Learn how to manage overstimulation
  • Integrate presence into your everyday life
  • Create sustainable healthy habits
  • Take home a tool kit of mindfulness practices

“Michael Plasha is the most thoughtful, attentive teacher I have had the pleasure of learning from. His approach to teaching yoga integrates physical postures, meditation, concentration, breath-work, history & philosophy in a way that is equally wonderful for beginners and very experienced yogis.” – Halle Sullivan, Student

“I have known Michael for twelve years as both a student of his classes and a partner in bringing his work to school staff and students. His dedication to his craft and expertise as a teacher are unmatched, and I believe he would be an asset to your school community.” – Dr. Leslee Hutchinson ASEDS Garnet Valley, PA

Michael is at the cutting edge of yoga in America. His approach will hopefully become mainstream in about 5 years.” – Swami Asokananda, President Integral Yoga Institute – NYC
