Songs, Stories and Practice of PEACE

with Sarah Jane Kennedy and Br. Stefan Andre Waligur, PhD

September 27 - 29, 2024

Join us for a transformative weekend retreat immersed in the Songs, Stories, and Practices of PEACE, where ancient wisdom meets contemporary well-being. From time immemorial, life has unfolded through the lenses of songs, stories, and movement, offering a profound connection to the spirit and aliveness inherent in all things. In these tumultuous times, we are re-awakening to the timeless path of animism—a harmonious way of seeing that aligns us with nature, self, and inner PEACE.

Throughout this weekend, we will weave together the threads of Celtic myth, song, and movement, crafting a natural reordering of our being. Through these practices, we’ll realign our bodies, minds, and hearts with spirit, fostering a sense of inner harmony. Join us on this journey to embrace the age-old wisdom encapsulated in Songs, Stories, and Practices of PEACE, as we navigate the path toward wholeness and well-being

Participants will leave with:

  • Wisdom of Celtic Spirituality
  • Realignment with nature and self
  • Tools for creating PEACE (a Present, Easeful, Aware, Connected, Experience)
  • Embodiment practices to experience JOY
  • Deeper connection between the heart, mind and spirit
  • Mindful Movement, Meditation, Breathwork and Journaling

Testimonials

“Under the guidance of Br. Stefan Andre Waligur, our students experienced a joyful and meditative approach in our search for wholeness and meaning…a remarkable journey to the innermost parts of the soul.” – Rev. Joseph Eldridge

“When I met Br. Stefan, at the Wild Goose festival in Hot Springs, NC in 2015 it was kismet. I have found kirtan to be one of my most powerful sound healings – a place of yielding and of union with God, sound, community and nature. On this day, a new ‘charge’ was expressing in my body when Br. Stefan chanted Shanti, Shakti and my wildness began to unfurl!” – Anita Grace Brown

“I’ve had the pleasure of being mentored and trained by Sarah Jane over the years. It is a yoga journey that has sculpted my heart and mind, equipping me with tools to guide others. It’s ignited a curious spirit, propelling me to delve deeper and learn further.” – Rachel Virginia George

“After being introduced to yoga over eight years ago, I found myself yearning to maturing beyond my physical asana practice. Sarah Kennedy Yoga provided me with an in-depth knowledge of yoga philosophy, history, anatomy, asana, breath work, meditation and much more, in order to become a confident yoga teacher. This training yielded a solid foundation to share my yoga practice and instruction with others.” – Sarah Kirby Rae
