How to Get a Good Night’s Sleep: Mind-Body Skills for Deep Rest

Sleep is an essential function of human life, yet millions of Americans suffer from sleep problems. Whether you have difficulty falling asleep, staying asleep, or feeling rested upon waking, these sleep issues can impair your mental, emotional, and physical health.
In this workshop you will:
- Review some of the basics of sleep hygiene
- Learn evidence-based mind-body skills to improve sleep
- Practice a variety of key sleep-inducing exercises
- Take home materials to enhance and support your sleep, including a guided iRest meditation
This workshop is appropriate for experienced yogis, those brand new to Yoga and/or meditation, as well as Yoga teachers hoping to learn new skills to share with students.
Robin is extremely knowledgeable and presented a variety of techniques that we could use to go to sleep more easily and soundly. There were also handouts which supported the various techniques, which were very helpful because so much information was presented! In addition, we were able to try some of the relaxation techniques during the class. And I have tried some of the recordings, and they are very helpful as well.
