COVID Vaccination: At this time the Ashram is only welcoming participants and guests that are fully vaccinated and able to provide proof of their Vaccination at least 72-hours before their arrival. Registration: Please register at least 48-hours before Arrival.
There is a cap of 30 people for the In-person retreat, please book early.

Transportation: At this time the Ashram is unable to provide transportation service to/from the Charlottesville Airport/Train/Bus stations.

Children: At this time the Ashram is only able to accommodate children 15+ that are fully vaccinated and accompanied by their legal guardian.
Children 15+ are full price.

Join us for the New Year’s Silent Retreat to reflect deeply, gather your strength, renew your inspiration, reconnect with your spirit, and restore yourself in the sanctuary and solace of the Integral Yoga community.

We are also offering this as an online New Year’s Immersion Retreat

Satchidananda Ashram–Yogaville is a perfect setting for an inner journey. Our signature Silent Retreats take place in a serene oasis nestled near the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. This restorative environment nurtures your connection with inner stillness.

Take time to step back from the demands of daily life and reconnect with your inner peace. Through the practices of mental silence and Yoga in a tranquil environment, you become reacquainted with your true nature of peace and joy.

Join like-minded seekers for a time of self-discovery. The benefits of silence continue long after the retreat ends—you’ll go forward with tools you can use to enjoy a more peaceful, useful, and happy life.

What to Expect

Since 1970, Integral Yoga Silent Retreats have provided the sanctuary and solace everyone needs from time to time. Surrounded by a serene woodland landscape, you will immerse yourself in silence while teachers offer experiential classes in:

  • Yoga philosophy
  • Meditation
  • Breathing techniques
  • Yoga postures
  • Deep relaxation

Support

During the retreat, you will have the opportunity to seek support and clarification by asking questions in written form.

Private mentoring is also available.

All Are Welcome

These retreats are open to everyone, from beginners to advanced Yoga retreatants. Those who are new to meditation or Yoga practices will receive full instruction, while those with experience will have the opportunity to deepen their practice.
