with Haris Harini Lender, Rev. Sam Rudra Swartz
It’s time to unplug from the world’s distractions—and reconnect with your entire family!
Using the experience she developed as the former director of Camp Yogaville, the creative genius behind Kidding Around Yoga leads you and your family through a complete, immersive, and fun-filled Yoga experience. Chanting, dancing, cuddles, and silliness are liberally sprinkled throughout this weekend.
The schedule includes a hodge-podge of activities fit for every age. It all begins on Friday night with energetic Yoga games and icebreakers, followed by a Yoga class with extra-snuggly time in your Secret Garden. Saturday activities include more hatha, followed by arts and crafts, nature walks, and kid-friendly talks on Yoga philosophy. We’ll spend time setting goals for establishing a Yoga practice in the home. On Sunday, expect more family Yoga fun before a special closing circle.
Kidding Around Yoga is based on the teachings of Sri Swami Satchidananda, so you can be assured that you and your children will leave having a better understanding of his teachings.
You can be sure that the experiences and inspiration from this family bonding weekend will last long after you return home!
The instructors for the Family Yoga Weekend were excellent. The program was very well thought through and the activities were a mix of fun/silly while also teaching Yoga principles. The kids had a blast and did not want to leave. – Ryann Wayne

About the Instructors
Haris Harini Lender is the founder of Kidding Around Yoga. She is certified in Integral Yoga at the 500-hour level, Prenatal, Raja, Children’s Yoga, and Stress Management. She lives in Florida with her husband and children and enjoys spending time in her yurt in Yogaville.
During her eleven years of running Camp Yogaville, Haris wrote songs and skits, managed counselors, teachers and kitchen staff, and developed skills that would help her along the way to creating Kidding Around Yoga.
Haris is extremely grateful to her teacher Swami Satchidananda, and to all of the Swamis, friends and teachers at Yogaville that have helped guide her over the years. She is also thankful for her parents, who gave her the insanely creative ability to write songs and invent lots of fun activities for kids and families, her husband, and to all who have helped her create this program.
