Yoga Alliance: 200 hours upon successful completion.
Spring is an exciting time to come to Yogaville. With each day the weather becomes milder and the entire world slowly comes back to life again. The walkways to the LOTUS are lined with hundreds of yellow and white daffodils while the cherry blossom trees come into full bloom on the banks of the LOTUS Lake. By the second and third weeks of the Spring Teacher Training the dogwoods and red bud trees have opened up bringing new beauty and softness to the forest trees. Dandelions lift up their scruffy yellow heads and little by little tiny leaves of green can be seen on the trees. Then amazingly, what seems like overnight, all of the tree branches change from stark brown twigs into vibrant lush, green canopies of leaves, bursting with fresh life and the last phantoms of winter disappear from our consciousness.
Our Spring teacher trainings seem to mimic Nature. Our teacher trainees arrive ready to undergo the month-long process that will transform them into teachers. They embrace the daily schedule: the meditations, morning hatha, yogic diet, lectures, practice and much more. Their consciousness of a yogic lifestyle and way of living begins to blossom. Then suddenly, there is an alignment of body, mind and spirit and they emerge from the program with the confidence and understanding to teach Integral Yoga Hatha.
