This course expands on the sequencing foundation introduced in the two and three day Vedic Conservatory courses. Students will have the opportunity to refine their existing Thai Yoga Bodywork techniques while exploring intermediate levels of asanas or katas in all the attitudes (Supine, Side-lying, and Seated.) Students who have studied different styles of Thai Yoga Bodywork are welcome to attend this immersion. Ultimately there is no such thing as a beginning or advanced offering—there is only the art. We differentiate only to say that this course is suitable for those who want to go deeper into this mysterious art and deepen their existing practice and understanding. There are layers and more layers. As with all Yoga, it is a life-time of study for the serious practitioner.
After the completion of this immersion Thai Yoga Bodywork course, participants will be able to give a two-hour session and expand their Thai Yoga Bodywork repertoire. Exploration of the Sen Lines or “Lom” and Marma therapy will be expanded. (Marmas are points of energy that govern chakras and systems of organs.) All participants will receive hands-on assistance, as well as a course manual to take home.
