Yoga Alliance Hours: 23 (approximate)
A workshop for Yoga teachers and experienced Yoga students.
In the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, one of obstacles to Yoga is “slipping from ground grained”. This happens when we get distracted from our goal and allow these distractions to take us away from our personal practice. Learning something new, practicing and discussing Yoga with like minded Yoga practitioners is the perfect remedy. The inspiration of the practices and group energy will put you back on your path with renewed enthusiasm and clarity.
Some of the Topic Covered in the Workshop Include:
Prana Shakti: tap into the energy within
Asanas to enhance the breath capacity
Pranayama: Practices for body and mind
Deepening your own practice
How to encourage students in the more subtle practices of Yoga: Meditation, pranayama, chanting, ceremonies
What causes burn out? The yogic approach to prevention and cure
Adapting Yoga practices to meet your needs
Making Yoga your Life
