Join Kofi Busia, one of the world’s foremost teachers in the Iyengar tradition, for this transformative workshop. During this weekend he will blend the deeper teachings of yoga philosophy with a powerful practice of yoga postures or asanas.
Using asana and pranayama (breath control), he will show us how to focus and develop the mind and tap into both the practical and esoteric teachings of yoga that can dramatically improve the way we think and feel. Exploring body and breath through fundamental yoga practice, he will bring us into an ever greater state of equanimity of mind and help us to perceive the ocean of Peace that underlies the our very being.
Kofi Busia will guide each of us as we explore our body’s capacities and limits, correcting our asanas with surgeon-like precision. He will offer individualized attention and postural corrections that can revolutionize your relationship to your body and your asana practice. He will help us move our body into a state of steadiness and comfort and our mind into a state of stillness that will point us in the direction of Self-mastery.
Yoga and fitness instructors, health professionals and laypeople will find this workshop useful.
