I also work with two-year-old twins who have cerebral palsy. The yoga therapy has improved their balance, strength and flexibility and, equally as important, it has given them the ability to develop stillness in their mind and body.
You are not given the light by anyone—not even by a spiritual teacher. You are that light.
As yoga students and teachers, compassion blossoms as our inner guidance. Compassion is fostered by our personal experience through hardships—physical, mental or emotional—or by, with an open heart, perceiving the suffering of others.
The technique of meditation is to keep the mind fully occupied on one thing. When the mind is fully occupied on one thing, it is kept away from many things and it becomes quiet.
